Bangalore 2017 Auto Expo




First of all, to start with, I love cars so when saw the advertisement of Auto expo while returning back home from office, I got excited. I always wanted to see such expo but have missed it on multiple occasions. Delhi also hosts many exhibitions and auto expo is one of them. They get very good cars and the event is celebrated which is not just limited to car enthusiasts. Long back when I was in Delhi, I always wanted to see the Delhi Auto expo but somehow missed it every time. So, few days back when I saw advertisement, I got super happy and planned to visit the expo the coming Saturday (18th March). The auto expo was on Saturday and Sunday.
           The auto expo was on Mar 18-19th at White Orchid Convention Center in Manyata tech park. The place is just 20 minutes from where I live, so we were all set for Saturday. 
            From last two years, Bangalore is experiencing much higher temperatures and summer becomes unconformable. Saturday was a similar day, but for anyone enthusiasm always trumps minor inconvenience. We reached the expo around 1pm post having an awesome lunch at subway. When we reached the place, there were not many cars which was kind of weird as I expected a busy parking lot. But anyway, we got down, bought the entrance ticket. The moment I stepped in I got disappointed.  The first row displayed regular bikes. Bummer, I came all the way on a Saturday after not to see regular bikes. The exhibition center was always very small and I could easily see the end of it. Soon I realized that this is not the what I wanted to see. Since I got disappointing to start with, even a few fancy bikes and cars could not help. The only interesting car for me was Maserati. It was my first interaction with this brand and it seemed like a cool car.  Rest all the cars and bikes were regular ones. We hardly stayed there for 20 minutes and left.
Thanks, but No Thanks Hindu Auto expo. Next time when even I visit such expo, I would do a quick research before I visit :)
